We have been certified the ISO 9002:1994 since year 1999 and have
been upgraded to ISO9001:2000 in year 2003. Beginning year 2005,
we have been successfully certified to the ISO/TS 16949:2002 automotive
parts manufacturing QMS by SAI Global Limited, Australia. These
certifications are our commitment towards providing exceptional
products that surpass clients' expectations in terms of quality
and pricing. Coupled with our skilled workforce and the ability
to manage better cost efficiency, it has put us on the path to achieving
high quality technical rubber products.
The ISO/TS 16949 Automotive QMS is a testament of our commitment
in building a strong rapport with leading foreign QS 9000 &
ISO/TS 16949 certified automotive manufacturers. In line with that,
we have incorporated FMEA, PPAP, MSA and other relevant areas of
quality system to be on par with leading automotive manufacturers
in the world.
The Quality Assurance Department is our main coordinator in managing
our QMS. It maintains close liaison with the various departments.
As for testing facilities, we have a well-equipped quality control
laboratory with state-of-the-art rheometers and physical testing
equipment. In addition, our production process is controlled by
an online database system.
All the certifications are a testimony of Kossan's quality management
system. In maintaining the QMS, we also conduct regular internal
audits to ensure that the QMS is continuously maintained and improved
from time to time.
