When he graduated as a chemical engineer, Tan Sri Dato' Lim Kuang Sia applied his technical knowledge to solve this problem. With his success, KOSSAN was established in 1979, its name synonymous with 'At The Peak’.
During the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s, demand for gloves escalated, the world wanted more protection. This encouraged the founder to venture into glove manufacturing in 1988.
From an operation team of 5 people, KOSSAN grew into a world-class manufacturer in gloves and technical rubber products for land, sea and aerospace.
